Where to Take Hazardous Waste: Small Businesses

If your business generates small amounts of hazardous waste, you may be eligible to dispose of hazardous waste via the Conditionally Exempt Generator (CEG) program.

Is your business a CEG? Your business is considered a CEG if it generates less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste each month (approx. 25 gallons of liquid waste) and stores less than 2,200 pounds on site. Businesses should make an appointment by calling the hotline (1-800-444-4244).
