Board of Property Tax Appeals (BOPTA)
The Clerk’s Office serves as the liaison between board members, taxpayers and the Assessor during the property tax appeal process. Handling all administrative duties of the board, the Board of Property Tax Appeal (BOPTA) Clerk is in charge of receiving all petitions, scheduling the hearings, and producing the official orders.

The deadline has passed (January 3rd, 2017) for filing any new BOPTA petitions. Please see the attached Notice of Session for the upcoming BOPTA year 2016-2017.
