    The Polk County Clerk's Office serves a number of important functions including:

    • Administrating elections
    • Preserving various records and making them available to the public
    • Recording land transactions
    • Issuing marriage licenses
    • Issuing domestic partnership licenses
    • BOPTA contact during property tax appeal period


    Office Hours
    Monday - Friday
    8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
    1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    (excluding holidays)

    4:30 p.m. is cut off time for issuing marriage licenses, domestic partnerships, and recording.

Headlines

  • March 11:  Last day for District Candidates to file with Elections Official

    April 4:  Military and Overseas ballots will be mailed

    April 29:  Last day to register to vote (New voters to Oregon or voters changing political party)

    May 1:  Ballots will go to the Post Office (tentative date)

  • Polk County Clerk’s Office is now offering electronic document recording (eRecording).  This service allows you to record your documents more rapidly than if documents are mailed.  Documents must be submitted via a third party vendor and currently Polk County is contracted with two vendors, Simplifile and CSC/Ingeo.
