Crime Victims Assistance Program

Victim Advocates are available to work with crime victims throughout a case being prosecuted by the Polk County District Attorney's Office. 

Services provided include:​

  • Informing crime victims of their legal rights
  • Notifying crime victims of critical stages of the case
  • Accompanying crime victims to court hearings
  • Assisting in applying for restitution and/or Crime Victims Compensation
  • Connecting crime victims to community resources
