Veteran’s Preference
Incentive Pay and additional Pay (in addition to base salary):
Incentive pay:
- Education 4% for AA
- 7% for BS
- 5% Special assignment (MCRT, Detective, Drone Coordinator or Forest Deputy)
- Bi-Lingual (5%)
DPSST Certification Pay:
- 4% Intermediate Certification
- 7% Advanced Certification
12 Hour shift differential pay:
- 9 hours additional pay per month while working 12 hour shifts
Paid Leave:
- 8 hours of vacation earned monthly with increases every 5 years
- 8 hours of Holiday. Deputy positions will gain 8 hours per month in holiday pay that can be banked up to 80 hours or cashed out each month.
- Personal leave & monthly sick leave.
