Report Fraud Scams

To report a online scam or a scam that likely originates from out of the country you can report these types of incidents at the sites at the bottom of this page.  Many times these kinds of scams the person on the other end of the conversation will ask you for some kind of payment up front.  Please don't, the whole idea is for you to send your money first.  If someone calls you over the phone or through an email and asks you to send any kind of money (gift cards, bank account numbers, ACH transfers, money grams, western union etc), it is likely a scam.    Some scammers will ask you to send an overpayment, which in turn they tell you they will provide you the difference back or would give you some kind of increased refund back for helping them out.   Please be very cautious while interacting with these types of scammers.

For law enforcement to track these kinds of scams we prefer to provide information either to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or through the FBI so information can be analyzed and followed up on if necessary.
