Sheriff's Office Thanks ASPCA & All Who Helped

ASPCA Provides Grant Funding to Polk County for it's Efforts in Rescuing and Re-Homing Over 90 Animals

The Polk County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the ASPCA for their help with an animal neglect case that the Sheriff's Office began investigating back in February.  The ASPCA awarded the Sheriff's Office with a $10,000 grant to help care for these animals, which all now have been placed in permanent homes.

We would also like to thank everyone who stepped up and helped the Sheriff's Office during this investigation, whether it was with finding homes for the animals or by helping care for them. Without the public's help, this process would not have been such a success.
