Personal Property Sales

Sales are listed by date. Under the date you will find the address where the sale will be held along with the case heading, sale status and property being sold.

The creditor or representative may attend the sale and are allowed to bid up to the amount they are owed plus the costs of the sale. If you are bidding at the sale, you be asked to verify that you have the funds to participate.

Only U.S. currency and/or certified cashier’s check(s) made payable to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office will be accepted at the time and location of the sale. Payment must be made in full immediately upon close of the sale.

Personal property is auctioned off to the highest bidder for cash in hand. Items may be combined in order to obtain the highest bid possible or to expedite the sale. All sales are final and are sold "as-is".

Some personal property sales will have a link to the OSSA website where you can see the notice of sale, writ of execution and judgment. Some of the future sales will not be posted on the OSSA website. At the bottom of this web page you may also find documents regarding the sale.
