Jesus Maciel is the newest Resource Connector for Polk County! While being a student at Western Oregon University, he was a Community Health worker and Contact Tracer during the COVID-19 pandemic. While in this position, he was engaged with the community in delivering materials provided by Polk County and the WOU Covid-19 project. 

Outside of work, Jesus spends his time hiking the wilderness of Oregon and enjoys trying new foods from different cultures! He is excited to be a part of the Polk County team.
