Mission

The mission of our Veteran Services Office is to ensure that Polk County veterans and their families receive all benefits provided by federal and state law. A veteran service officer is the advocate for veterans and their families. We have an understanding of the problems that confront veterans, widows, widowers and their children. We know the extent, the meaning, and the application of federal veterans laws (statutes and regulations) passed in the interest of veterans and their dependents.
