The health of teens in Polk County is our priority: issues like STI/STD rates and teen pregnancy are growing concerns. The need for education and teen access to health information is greater than ever. The Place for Teen Health recognizes the crucial role that parents play in their teen's decisions. We encourage parents to talk to their teens about abstinence, healthy relationships, sex and protection options.
