Polk County recognizes West Valley Hospital as an Outstanding Community Partner

On August 16, 2017, the Polk County Board of Commissioners will recognize Salem Health/West Valley Hospital for their outstanding community collaboration with Polk County.

This award gives Polk County an opportunity to recognize the invaluable supporter West Valley Hospital has been to the County over the years. Working together, Polk County and West Valley Hospital have partnered on numerous projects that continue to improve the health and well-being of our community.

Projects like the Central Health and Wellness Center, Polk County’s first and only School Based Health Center that provides much needed medical and dental services to the greater Central Community. West Valley Hospital is also a key funding partner for the six service Integration teams around the County, provides no-charge printing service for the Polk County Resource guides, and donates warehouse space for the County’s ‘Fill our Home’ program.

The Board of Commissioners celebrates the partnership with Salem Health/West Valley Hospital in serving our community, and encourages members of the public to learn more about the organization and consider support through donations and volunteerism.
