ADULT OUTPATIENT SERVICES

Polk County Behavioral Health’s adult services are tailored to the individual and administered one-on-one or in a group setting. Our team is made up of Qualified Mental Health Professionals, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors, and Peer Support Specialists who are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health and/or substance use disorders.

Together, the client and counselor develop a service plan to achieve the client’s desired goals. Depending upon the symptoms and issues, individuals who meet medical necessity for a higher level of care may be referred for additional services provided by the Adult Intensive Services Team or the Psychiatric Medication Services Team.

DUII Program

Our Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors provide Substance Use Disorder treatment for individuals who have a DUII conviction and have been referred by the courts.

Gambling Treatment Services

If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, we have certified counselors who can provide treatment. Services are confidential and free of charge for the individual and/or family member(s).
