| WHAT IS SAME DAY ACCESS FOR NEW CLIENTS? |
Do you need services for mental health, substance use, or problem gambling? At Polk County Behavioral Health, we are here to help as soon as you are ready - that’s why we offer Same Day Access for New Clients.
Start by completing registration. We’ll notify you when you’ve been added to our system, after which time you may call any day Monday through Friday before noon for a same day appointment.

| WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT? |
Intake appointments begin at 1:30pm and typically last 1 ½ hours.
You will meet with a qualified provider and will complete an assessment, and together you will develop an initial service plan.
We are pleased to offer appointments in-person as well as TELEHEALTH. (phone or video)
