Administration
The Administration Office supports the Director, Road Supervisor, the Shop, Survey and Engineering staff.
The Polk County Publics Works Office:
- Provides Polk County maps and informational brochures to visitors.
- Provides assistance to Polk County residents, answering questions and taking road maintenance requests.
- Provides assistance in selecting and filling out appropriate forms.
- Processes accounts receivable and payable for the department.
- Administers the Adopt-a-Road program.
- Administers the Vegetation Management program.
Regular office hour are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with the office closing between 12:00 p.m. - 1 p.m. for lunch.
