Polk County Public Works Dust Control Permit Applications are available from Public Works and will also be available through the vendor companies. Once your permit application is approved, the company you choose will be notified.

You will be issued flags that will need to be placed at the road shoulder, one at the beginning and one at the end of the treated area. These flags must stay in place until October 1st to prevent the treated area from being graded, if possible.

Lignonsulfonate, Earthbind 100, and Roadsaver are all approved for use in the County on gravel roads.
