Polk County entered into an agreement with Willamette Valley Fiber powered by MINET to significantly expand rural broadband access for the county. Through the public partnership with Willamette Valley Fiber and Polk County, we are pleased to announce that one of two rural expansion projects have been completed.

The goal of the partnership with Willamette Valley Fiber is to provide GIG fiber services along Highway 51 and the entire town of Rickreall and south of Dallas between Kings Valley Highway and Falls City.

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant funds have made the expansion in Polk County possible.
