Sheriff Wolfe Announces Retirement

I want to thank the citizens and voters of Polk County as I announce my retirement, effective November 30th, 2015, for the support and belief you have had in me as your Sheriff. While it has been a wonderful journey and I have valued the trust you have placed on me, it now comes time for my wife Gail and I to begin enjoying more time with our children and grandchildren.

Drug Activity Complaint

The Polk County Sheriff's Office appreciates your assistance in identifying locations of suspected drug activity in our County. Disclosing your identity is optional, but keep in mind that without your contact information, it may be difficult to follow up on your tip.  If you do provide your phone number or name that information can still be kept confidential and by giving your phone number it would allow deputy to speak directly with you and after the conversation you can still remain anonymous if you choose to.

Polk County Resolution 15-6 affirms the County's support of the Second Amendment, which grants the right to bear arms.

Along with other Oregon Sheriffs, Polk County Sheriff Wolfe has made a statement regarding Senate Bill 941. 

Sheriff's Office Thanks ASPCA & All Who Helped

ASPCA Provides Grant Funding to Polk County for it's Efforts in Rescuing and Re-Homing Over 90 Animals

The Polk County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the ASPCA for their help with an animal neglect case that the Sheriff's Office began investigating back in February.  The ASPCA awarded the Sheriff's Office with a $10,000 grant to help care for these animals, which all now have been placed in permanent homes.
