Property Values Appeals Board
The Clerk’s Office serves as the liaison between board members, taxpayers and the Assessor during the property tax appeal process. Handling all administrative duties of the board, the Property Values Appeals Board (PVAB) Clerk is in charge of receiving all petitions, scheduling the hearings, and producing the official orders.
The filing fee is $40.00 per account.

October
The Clerk's office will begin accepting petitions after property taxes are mailed by the tax office
December 31st
Final day for petitions to be filed (or next business day of holiday weekend)
January
Post notice 1st session, pool member training as prescribed by Department of Revenue, hearing notices mailed
February - April
Convene on or after the 1st Monday in February, hearings held, orders mailed within five days of hearing, season adjourned
