Financial Reporting

The Finance Division is responsible for implementing and maintaining sound budgetary practices and effective internal control procedures. The division’s activities, including cash disbursements (accounts payable) and monthly internal financial reporting and payroll processing, are handled in accordance with such practices and procedures.

The division provides a variety of financial analysis for the Board of County Commissioners, the County Administrative Officer and other departments. The division is responsible for preparing the annual budget and monitoring compliance after adoption; the division also coordinates preparation of the annual audit and annual financial report, working with the County's external auditors.
