Reports & Records Checks

REQUESTS FOR REPORTS:
Requests for reports and/or records checks require payment to be made up front.  Copies of reports are $10.00 for the first 10 pages and $1.00 per page after that.  If photos are available you may obtain them for $25.00 which includes a CD.  To obtain copies you must fill out a reports & records checks request form with as much information as possible to help us locate the requested information for you.  We will accept faxed or e-mailed requests, but payment may be required up front.

RESEARCH FEE FOR RECORDS CHECKS:

We charge a research fee of $10.00 per name or address requested and will provide a list of report numbers associated with each.    A records check will only provide you with our agency's information.  If you are wanting to obtain somebody's criminal history statewide you must do that through the Oregon State Police.

OTHER AGENCY REPORTS:
We do not release other agency reports nor do we release juvenile reports; requests for those must be done through those agencies involved.  Requests are processed as time allows and you will receive a response within five (5) business days.  Since the Polk County Jail houses individuals that have been arrested inside of Polk County, multiple law enforcement agencies utilize our facility.  Each agency takes care of their own reports so even though somebody was in our jail, you still have to go to the appropriate agency for a copy of the report; the same is true for records checks

PERSONAL INFORMATION IN REPORTS:
Personal information in the report will be redacted or blackened out unless the request is from an attorney.

Payments can be made with cash, checks & money orders made payable to the Polk County Sheriff's Office or PCSO. We will also gladly accept VISA, MasterCard and debit cards with the VISA emblem.
