General Information:

It is Polk County's policy to respond to voter records requests in an orderly, consistent and reasonable manner.  The above form needs to be completed with name, contact information, and a clear indication on what records are being sought.

May 20th, 2025 Special District Election Important Dates:

  • April 4th:  Military/oversea ballots mailed
  • April 21st:  Out of state ballots mailed
  • April 29th:  Voter registration deadline for new and canceled voters
  • May 1st:  Ballots mailed to voters (drop-sites open)

Marriage Ceremonies

The Polk County Clerk is available to perform marriage ceremonies.  Please contact our office at the below number for availability and to set up an appointment.  We are often available for last minute ceremonies.

  • Polk County Clerk:  503.623.9217- The Clerk will resume doing ceremonies on June 2nd, after the May Election of 2025.

To be married by a Polk County Judge:

To be married by a Marion County Justice of the Peace- Spanish speaking ceremonies are available.

Political Signs

The size and placement of a political sign does not fall under election law.

Polk County is not a passport creation agency.
