General Information:

It is Polk County's policy to respond to voter records requests in an orderly, consistent and reasonable manner.  The above form needs to be completed with name, contact information, and a clear indication on what records are being sought.

  • September 19th:  Military/oversea ballots mailed
  • October 6th:  Out of state ballots mailed
  • October 14th:  Voter registration deadline for new and canceled voters
  • October 15th:  Ballots mailed to voters (drop-sites open)
  • November 4th:  Election Day!

Marriage Ceremonies

The Polk County Clerk is available to perform marriage ceremonies.  Please contact our office at the below number for availability and to set up an appointment.  We are often available for last minute ceremonies.
