Visor is a free, computer-based service that will allow you to check on an offender's custody status either in a county or state facility, and to register to receive automatic notification when an individual in custody (IIC) is released or transferred.

 

How do I use VISOR?

Inmate Visitation

While incarcerated at the Polk County Jail, inmates are encouraged to stay in contact with friends and family.

 

Inmate Phone Usage

Most inmates have access to telephones from the hours of 8:00 AM through 10:00 PM daily.  Inmates may make collect calls only and they cannot receive any incoming calls.

You must send a money order to the Polk County Jail at 850 Main St, Dallas, Oregon 97338, addressed to the

Jail Division

The Polk County Jail was completed in August of 1999 and has a capacity of 195 inmates.

The Polk County Jail is a state-of-the-art facility which is staffed by the best correctional personnel in the State.  During our first State Jail Inspection, the Polk County Jail received an overall rating of 99.8%.  This rating is a tribute to all of the hard work and dedication that the staff of the Polk County Jail constantly displays.
