May 19th, 2026 Primary Election Important Dates:

• September 11th, 2025:  First day a candidate may file
• March 3rd, 2026:  Last day an incumbent candidate may file seeking re-election (does not include PCP's)
• March 10th, 2026:  Last day a candidate may file or withdraw

The Polk CARES Center will officially open its doors on October 6, 2025, bringing hope and new opportunities for the residents of Polk County.  An Open House will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at 182 SW Academy Street Dallas, Oregon 97361.  

Public comments are sought for the review of the Polk County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) Update.
