ODOT Project Updates

 

From ODOT:

Our crews are working to bring curb ramps to ADA standards in Dallas and Rickreall. This helps improve accessibility for everyone, whether you drive, ride, walk or roll.

During construction, you can expect:

Work happening in both cities at the same time.

Crews working mostly during the daytime, Monday through Friday.

Shoulder and lane closures as needed.

Flaggers helping direct traffic as needed.

Delays and construction noise.

Important Assessment & Taxation Information

When mailing your documents to the Polk County Assessor's office we recommend that you get a hand-stamped postmark from the post office counter showing your item was mailed on or before the due date.

Record-Breaking Success: Adopt-a-Family Christmas Project Spreads Joy to Over 1,000 Families

Over 1,000 families and nearly 2,900 children in Polk County experienced a brighter Christmas thanks to the overwhelming success of the 2024 Adopt-a-Family Christmas project. The distribution day, held at the Polk County Fair and Events Center on December 18, was made possible by the tireless efforts of over 200 community and agency volunteers.
