Our Mission

To provide direct child support services to the residents of Polk County by establishing, modifying, and/or enforcing child support in order to encourage responsible parenting, family self-sufficiency, and child well-being, and to recognize the essential role of both parents in supporting their children.

We offer a varitety of services for our constituents, including but not limited to: Establishment of Paternity, Establishment of Monetary Child Support, Modification of Child Support Orders, Enforcement of Child Support Orders. Registration and Enforcement of Foreign Orders

FAQ's

Q. Can I have the other parties address/phone number?

A. For security reasons, we will not provide you with the other party’s information.

Q. Can I get my child's social security number/birthdate?

A. For security reasons, we will not provide this information.

Q. I am not getting my parenting time, what can you do about it?

A. You will need to contact the courts for enforcement options regarding parenting time, as we can only enforce monetary child support.

Q. Can I have/do I qualify for a modification?

A. Modifications can take place once every three years, unless there has been a significant change in circumstances. If it is within 3 years you must provide proof with your request for modification.

Q. They took the paying parties' taxes, why haven't I received them yet?

A. We are required by the IRS to hold taxes for a minimum of 30 days, but depending upon filing status we may have to hold them for up to 180 days.

Q. Do you accept cash?

Q. Where do I mail my payment?

Q. How to change/reset my online password?

A. You can change your password online at https://customerportal.oregonchildsupport.gov/login or contact customer service at (800) 850-0228

Q. When moving out of State what do I need to do?

A. When moving, all you need to do is provide us with your updated address and we can handle the rest.
