How to Schedule an Inspection

You can schedule inspections 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by phone, online, or through an App on your smart phone. Polk County permit numbers start with a 687, then a year, followed by a six digit number, and then an extension designating the permit type. Be sure to use the 687- prefix when entering your permit number to schedule an inspection or to search for a permit number. Your permit number should look something like 687-13-000123-XXX (older permits may look like 687-B13-100-XXX). You do not need to enter the letters at the end of your permit number when searching for your permit, so you could enter, 687-13-000123. If you schedule your inspection after the cut-off time, your inspection will be scheduled for the following business day. You will need to use the Oregon ePermitting Inspection Codes when scheduling your inspection. This document can also be found below under Supporting Documents.

To schedule an inspection through your smart phone, you will need to download the IOS App or the Android App. You may be able to find these at your App Store by searching for "Oregon ePermitting Inspections". Links to these App's can be found on the Oregon ePermitting website:

To schedule an inspection through the Oregon ePermitting IVR System call, 1-888-299-2821. You will need the 12 digit IVR Number associated with your permit. The IVR Number is located on the front of your permit (if you have permit number that looks like B13-100, contact our office and we can provide you your IVR Number).
