The S.A.L.T. program is designed to bring a partnership of shared values between the community and the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Reserve Unit

Reserve deputies volunteer their time to assist the Sheriff’s Office employees with patrol and corrections duties, as well as crime prevention and special events.

Patrol Division

Food Handler Education

Food service workers are required to obtain a food handler card within 30 days of beginning work. Food handler cards issued in any Oregon county are valid throughout Oregon.
