The Polk County Public Health Reproductive Health program provides confidential free or low cost services to women. We also provide specified services to men.
It has been a very difficult decision, but the 4-H program leaders and 4-H Leaders Association has decided to cancel the 2020 Polk County 4-H Holiday Fair. In accordance with current gathering restrictions, as well as the priority of keeping our volunteer’s, youth and community’s health and safety first, they have decided to forego the event this year. They will be looking into the viability of an online or smaller event in the spring.
We are sorry to cancel such a special event, but look forward to seeing you all in 2021.
Intake is responsible for the classification and evaluation of all Justice Involved Individuals (JII) entering Polk County Community Corrections from Circuit Court, as well as transfers from other jurisdictions. Upon initial sentencing and contact with the office, all JII’s will be scheduled individually with the Caseload Specialist and will be required to fill out an extensive intake packet prior to meeting with their assigned Probation/Parole Officers.
The Reduced Supervision Caseload (RSC) is a specialized supervision program focused on low-risk offenders who have satisfied the majority of their probation conditions. The goal of this program is to offer offenders a less restrictive environment in which to complete supervision. The program rewards positive growth and positive completion of supervision conditions. As in all other programs, offenders are held accountable and are monitored for compliance.
