The Buena Vista Ferry is maintained by Marion County Public Works.  Call the recorded "Ferry Information Line" at (503) 588-7979  or Marion County Public Works Dispatch at (503) 588-5304 for status and hours of operation.

The Polk County Clerk’s Office is now offering couples wishing to obtain a marriage license, the opportunity to fill out the required paperwork on-line.

The Finance Division is responsible for implementing and maintaining sound budgetary practices and effective internal control procedures.

The Polk County Courthouse and Academy Building will be closed in honor of Independence Day. Emergency services and law enforcement will remain available.
 

Polk County Clerk’s Office is now offering electronic document recording (eRecording).  This service allows you to record your documents more rapidly than if documents are mailed.  Documents must be submitted via a third party vendor and currently Polk County is contracted with three vendors, Simplifile, CSC eRecording Solutions​, and Indecomm.  Please see below for contact information.
