A public meeting of the Budget Committee for Polk County will be held in the Main Conference Room, Polk County Courthouse, 9:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the budget for fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 and to receive the budget message and document. The public meeting will continue on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Additional time is reserved for public comment at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022.
During the 3/2/22 BOC Meeting, our Commissioners recognized the organizers of the 2021 Falls City Annual Christmas Tree Lighting event. This event received the 2021 Ovation! Award Winner for Festival of the Year (Small) from the Oregon Festivals & Events Organization in Seaside.
The organizers included The Mountain Gospel Fellowship, Amy Metzler, James Metzler, Pastor John Unger, Ellen Unger, Dani Haviland, etc.
