Paying Taxes by Mail

You can mail your tax payments to the Polk County Tax Office, 850 Main Street, Dallas, OR 97338. Your payment must be postmarked on or before the due date of your payment. Be sure to enclose your payment stub or write your tax account number on your check. You can pay multiple accounts using one check.
You can make a full or partial payment against your tax balance.

Warning: if a double payment is accidentally made, the County will refund the property tax amount, but not the convenience fee. Neither the credit card fee nor the electronic check fee is received by the County. If an electronic check transaction is processed against an account with insufficient funds, a $30.00 NSF check charge will be applied to the property tax account.

Payments must be received or postmarked on or before November 15th to be eligible for a discount.
