The Fair Board has decided that the October 17 Board meeting will be held in the evening since many people work during the day when meetings are held.

The Finance Division is responsible for implementing and maintaining sound budgetary practices and effective internal control procedures.

The Polk County Courthouse and Academy Building will be closed in honor of Independence Day. Emergency services and law enforcement will remain available.

Dallas OHSET PLAY 1 was rained out partway through on June 30th. We will complete the missing three events with check-in starting at 8 AM. The first event will start at 9 AM.

Polk County Clerk’s Office is now offering electronic document recording (eRecording).  This service allows you to record your documents more rapidly than if documents are mailed.  Documents must be submitted via a third party vendor and currently Polk County is contracted with three vendors, Simplifile, CSC eRecording Solutions​, and Indecomm.  Please see below for contact information.
