Polk County Sheriff Bob Wolfe announced the loss of another patrol deputy from his already stretched resources.  Deputy Casey Gibson was temporarily hired last year to help out with budget reductions has accepted a position with the Monmouth Police Department starting May 1, 2014.

A certified copy of your marriage license is used to show proof of marriage, or effect a name change with agencies such as Social Security or the Department of Motor Vehicles.

To obtain a marriage license, each applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years of age (or 17 years old with a parent or legal guardian's consent). Each couple must appear in person.
