The Board of Commissioners' Office has a staff member that can notarize documents (Notary Public).
The fee is $10.00, cash or check only. 
Each person must provide a one of the following a time of signing:

• Drivers license or ID card issued by DMV
• Passport
• Military identification card that contains photo and signature
• Tribal identification card that contains photo and signature
• Other government issued document that contains the person's photo and signature

The BOC has meetings Mondays, Tuesday & Wednesdays that start at 9 a.m. and can sometime last for an hour or more.

The best times to come are from 11-12 p.m. or 1-5 p.m. Please call ahead to make sure Nicole is in the office that day. 503-623-8173

If your document requires witnesses, it is best to bring your own. This is a small office and it is rare to have enough people available to witness.

WebMaps is an internet based tool that provides basic information about geographically (map) referenced information publicly available at Polk County. You can query tax lots in a number of ways.
