Doug graduated from the University of Oregon in 2004 with a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Since that time, he has been working with children and families in the mental health field. His work experience includes time at a Day Treatment Center, an outpatient clinic, and multiple years providing mental health services in schools. He loves working with kids and is a huge advocate for reaching out to children and families to help them overcome obstacles to treatment and help. He is equally passionate about the need for prevention work in communities. Doug has been the supervisor for the School Based Mental Health Program since 2012. He has three children and enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball and golf, and outdoor cooking. He is looking forward to continuing to build on the great work the School Based Mental Health Program has been doing with Polk County children and families.
