Critter Campus

Critter Campus is a small animal education day that has been hosted in Polk County for over 30 years.
 

This hands on education day highlights rabbits, cavies, poultry, pigeons/doves, and cats. Participants are encouraged to bring their project animals, but it is not required.

 

Classes are taught by registered judges, 4-H professionals, industry professionals, seasoned volunteers, and expert 4-H’ers and alumni who are passionate what they are teaching.

 

With over 35 classes on rabbits, cavies, poultry, pigeon/doves, and cats this event has something for everyone. Including sessions for junior leaders, parents, and volunteers.

 

All 4-H’ers and non-4-H youth (from all counties!) ages 5-18 are welcome!

 

Pre-registration encouraged, but day-of registration will also be available at 8:30 am

 

Sessions begin at 10:00 am

Important information:

  • Please bring critters in a leak-proof carrier

  • Cats and Pigeons/Doves must be leashed at all times

  • Participants please bring your own carpet square
