Economic Development

The Economic Development program is responsible for coordination of economic development and infrastructure development activities and administering grant programs supporting these kinds of activities.

Community Service

The Polk County Community Service Program is a combination of in-custody inmate workers and out-of-custody community service workers that perform various tasks within the community under the supervision and direction of Polk County Community Corrections.

Sex Offender Supervision

Polk County Community Corrections supervises approximately 90 offenders who have been convicted of a variety of sexual offenses and represent varying levels of risk to the community.  The assigned probation officer is tasked with enforcing each offenders supervision conditions as identified by the courts, Local Supervisory Authority, and/or the Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision.  

Civil Division

The Polk County Sheriff's Office Civil Division responds to all legal processes directed to the Sheriff, including, but not limited to: Writs of Execution

The S.A.L.T. program is designed to bring a partnership of shared values between the community and the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Reserve Unit

Reserve deputies volunteer their time to assist the Sheriff’s Office employees with patrol and corrections duties, as well as crime prevention and special events.

The primary goal of the Polk County Victim Assistance Program is to provide information, resources and support to victims of both adult and juvenile crimes committed in Polk county.
