E. Accountability of offenders.
A statewide database of all predatory sex offenders is maintained by the Oregon State Police Sex Offender Unit. They provide an interactive website where you can search for a specific predatory sex offender or offenders living in a geographic area by zip code or within a radius of a specific address, among other options.
Community Corrections utilizes treatment providers approved by the local Sex Offender Supervision Network (SOSN) and by the department Director. Approved treatment providers must be a Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) and licensed and endorsed by the Oregon Licensing Board for Sex Offender Therapy.
The treatment provider and the parole/probation officer are in constant contact to ensure the offender is being held accountable and to identify treatment progression or concerns.
The Community Service program requires a one-time $40.00 fee which must be paid by completion of your hours or by the termination of supervised probation.
