County Facilities Re-Opening

On Tuesday February 16th, the Polk County Board of Commissioners voted to reopen county facilities to the public, effective Monday February 22, 2021. 

 

About Developmental Disabilities

Mission:

To guide individuals with Developmental Disabilities in their choice of supports that promote well-being, independence and integration. We believe in helping individuals lead fulfilling lives and reach their potential.

Services Provided

The Polk County Developmental Disabilities Program provides support for children and adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are the point of access to services and support for people in Polk County. Participation in the program is voluntary.
