To report a online scam or a scam that likely originates from out of the country you can report these types of incidents at the sites at the bottom of this page.  Many times these kinds of scams the person on the other end of the conversation will ask you for some kind of payment up front.  Please don't, the whole idea is for you to send your money first.  If someone calls you over the phone or through an email and asks you to send any kind of money (gift cards, bank account numbers, ACH transfers, money grams, western union etc), it is likely a scam.    Some scammers will ask you to send a
