The goal of the Board of Commissioners is to make public policy and manage County affairs in an open and efficient manner, manage County assets in a responsible manner to enhance their value and benefit to Polk County citizens, and provide essential and mandated County programs in accordance with the wishes of the citizens of the County.
Current Commissioners serving Polk County include Craig Pope (Chair), Lyle Mordhorst, and Jeremy Gordon.
Pursuant to ORS 294.250, the Board of Commissioners' record of proceedings of actions taken and the list of expenditures to vendors over $500 according to the records of the County Clerk and Treasurer for previous months is posted below and available for review at the county courthouse. Copies of all or part of the posted information may be obtained from the County upon payment of a fee not exceeding the actual costs incurred by the County in making copies of the posted information.
