What is Gale's Lodge?

Gale's Lodge Veterans' Shelter provides temporary (maximum of one year) emergency housing for veterans while connecting them to many social service programs with an emphasis on employment related services and permanent housing. 

Gale's Lodge guests are connected with:

• Transportation assistance
• Assistance with accessing veteran benefits
• Connection to Polk County Veteran’s Service Office
• Assistance with attaining permanent housing
• Connection to Polk County Behavioral Health
• Community Garden
• Connection to Polk County Resource Center
• Employment Connections
