Reserve Unit Appreciation BBQ

The Polk County Sheriff's Office held an appreciation BBQ for the Reserve Unit on the shore of the Willamette River August 3.  Reserve members and other Sheriff's Office staff brought family members to the park to celebrate, show appreciation for the Reserve Unit, and to present the following awards:

John Kincaid recently retired from the Reserve Unit after almost 25 years.  He was presented with a Commander's Award from the Reserve Unit and Sheriff Wolfe presented him with his badge mounted on a plaque.

Reserve Sgt. James Johnson received the 2012 Commander's Award.

Reserve Deputy Chris Brodniak received the 2012 Marine Captain of the Year Award.

Deputy Casey Gibson received the Reserve Officer of the Year Award.
