Detective Krauger Receives Recognition From FBI
Detective Burney Krauger retired from the Polk County Sheriff's Office on June 30, 2013 after 22 years of law enforcement. On July 23, 2013, the Salem office of the FBI arranged to have Detective Krauger present at the Polk County Sheriff's Office to present him with a letter from the Director of the FBI, Robert S. Mueller, III.
The certificate was in recognition of his outstanding assistance to the FBI in connection with joint investigative efforts in Polk County.
