The Reading for All Initiative of The Oregon Community Foundation will mobilize the communities in Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties to increase literacy throughout the Northern Willamette Valley (NWV) region.

Reading for All (RFA) is an inclusive model that reaches out to and involves all community members including individuals, families, organizations and systems. RFA will increase the community's awareness of the importance of reading, encourage parents to read to their children and align community resources to strengthen the opportunity for more children to receive books and have adults read to them. The initial emphasis will be to promote reading for children and families as a method of facilitating academic and lifelong success.

In order to learn about literacy efforts already taking place in Polk County, we have created a brief survey to increase our awareness around these efforts.
