Buena Vista Park
We are pleased to announce that Buena Vista Boat Launch will be officially open on Saturday, November 18, 2023. We are thankful to the community for the support and patience during this project. While things did not go as planned last year (2022) and the weather didn’t cooperate as we had hoped for this year, the park is finally at a stage where it is ready for public use.
We hope that you enjoy the use of the boat launch and park as it has been through a significant update that will make it more user friendly for all watercraft. Polk County is extremely grateful to the Oregon State Marine Board for their assistance in oversight of this project. We additionally thank the Oregon State Marine Board and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife for funding this project and making it possible in the first place. It could not have been done without the grants and assistance from both of these agencies.
Welcome back to the new and improved Buena Vista Boat Launch. We hope that you enjoy it for many years to come. Be safe!
