TAX PAYMENTS

Tax payments are due each year by November 15th . Three equal payments on November 15th, February 15th, and May 15th will prevent interest charges. Payment in full by November 15th provides a 3% discount and a 2/3rd payment by November 15th gives a 2% discount. The 2% discount is calculated on the 2/3 payment, rather than the total amount of the tax.

Payments must be received or postmarked on or before
November 15 to be eligible for a discount.

Paying taxes online
There is a 2.5% convenience fee to pay by credit or debit card, and a flat fee of $3.00 ($15.00 for payments over $10,000) to pay by electronic check using the County's e-check service. These payments can be made from a personal computer or by telephone. To use this option, you will need your tax account number. Your account number is listed at the top right of your property tax bill.

E-checks are not yet available from this site. However, if you have electronic check capabilities with your own bank, you are welcome to initiate e-checks for property taxes through your own online banking system. The County does not charge a fee for electronic checks issued from your own online banking system. You may also pay by e-check using the following toll-free number: 1-888-643-8041.

Warning: if a double payment is accidentally made, the County will refund the property tax amount, but not the convenience fee. Neither the credit card fee nor the electronic check fee is received by the County. If an electronic check transaction is processed against an account with insufficient funds, a $28.00 NSF check charge will be applied to the property tax account.
